Introduction

In 2010 High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, also known as KEK, based in Tsukuba, Japan initiated the project on design and production of one of the most powerful machine of the modern world – charged-particle accelerator SuperKEKB or, said another way, new electron-positron collider. This project has its origins in major international project Belle, conducted on KEKB collider during 1999-2010. Among all other things, KEK Company is going to improve the crucial indicator of collider’s performance – luminosity, that is proportional to the number of particles colliding within a defined amount of time.

Since 2014 ADGEX Limited has developed and probed its own unique technology of single crystals growth, on the basis of which specialists of ADGEX GENESIS are able to grow ultra-perfect crystals of gadolinium silicate (GdSiO3) specifically for Japanese collider SuperKEKB.

ADGEX GENESIS division has expressly designed universal chambers that allows growing “ideal” large-format and oriented single crystals of gadolinium silicate (GdSiO3) in a laboratory conditions. Alternatively to current growth technologies of forcible pulling of crystals to achieve required shape at the temperature of 1960oC, our technology is based on the method of layer-wise growth by way of setting perfect natural environment inside the chamber for the crystal growth at the temperature of up to 2300oC

Our method of gadolinium silicate synthesis allows growing superb single crystals with unparalleled perfect structure and diameter, which are ideal for Japanese collider SuperKEKB. Unique chamber GENESIS-BAR is designed for high-effective synthesis of gadolinium silicate in vacuum or inert gaseous medium with excessive pressure of up to 150 bar. Synthesis is completely automated and computerized thanks to our own software.

1. PRODUCTION LAUNCH OF GADOLINIUM SILICATE (GdSiO3) GROWTH

PRODUCTION LAUNCH OF GADOLINIUM SILICATE (GdSiO3) GROWTH for Japanese Company KEK on the basis of vacuum chamber GENESIS-BAR. To make this happen, we shall have GENESIS-BAR chamber manufactured and grow first batch of crystals. Documentation and description of GdSiO3 synthesis method have been already developed by our scientists. Similar chamber as well as identical technical solutions was probed before.

2. SYNTHESIS OF CRYSTALS
ON THE BASIS OF ATMOSPHERIC CHAMBER GENESIS-AIR

One medium-sized chamber GENESIS-AIR has already been produced tested and probed. The second GENESIS-AIR chamber is on its final production stage. To commission the second chamber and start growing of up to 50kg of crystals on each apparatus, we should have supplement equipment and crucible manufactured, and purchase reagents.

ADGEX Ltd has already invested more than USD $1.2 million of its own funds into the project. State-of-the-art scientific laboratory has been established in Saint Petersburg, Russia. To start growing single crystals, we need to additionally furnish the lab with necessary supplement equipment. Highly skilled personnel have already been recruited and all of them are ready for work. All key positions are held by well-experienced scientists.

Sum of funds to be raised are final. The project will be started just after raising the first $90 000 US Dollars. Launch of a single chamber GENESIS-AIR will allow growing commercial batches of CdWO4 single crystal and sell them on the global market, making massive profit to be reinvested into further development of the Project and implementation of all project stages.

Crystals are the most eagerly sought, expensive and at the same time deficient component of modern instruments. Crystals has no lifetime – however, majority of market fields are currently experiencing ever-growing shortage of high quality flawless single crystals due to energy intensive current methods of their growth and high level of wastes generation from initial feedstock.
